Join us for an impactful dialogue featuring men at the forefront of reshaping masculinity and confronting violence within our communities.
Emerge invites you to a panel discussion in partnership with Goodwill of Southern Arizona as part of our Lunchtime Insights series. Together, we’ll delve into the vital role men play in responding to and eliminating domestic abuse in our community. The panel will include male staff members from Emerge's Men's Engagement Team and Goodwill's Youth Re-Engagement Centers (REC), with Anna Harper, Executive Vice President of Emerge, moderating the discussion.
The conversation will center Emerge's community accountability model for addressing men's violence, intergenerational approaches to engaging men and boys for community safety, the importance of amplifying leadership from Black and Indigenous men of color (BIPOC), and personal reflections illustrating the transformative journey of our panelists. Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with the panelists.
Additionally, we’ll be sharing updates about our upcoming Generate Change Men's Feedback Helpline, Arizona's first helpline dedicated to supporting men who may be at risk of making violent choices, along with details about our new men's community clinic.
