As always, we will have opportunities to network, connect with potential customers, share ideas about how to grow your business, and enjoy food and company. We will also be joined by Jennifer Pullen of the UA, who will introduce us to the Making Action Possible (MAP) Dashboard and suggest ways we can use the information it contains.
The MAP Dashboard project was created to improve Southern Arizona through data driven collective civic action and education. It provides users with indicators on our region’s progress, as well as access to the latest information and research.
Jennifer Pullen is a research economist in the Economic and Business Research Center at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management and project manager and analyst for the MAP Dashboard project. She holds a B.S. in Economics and a M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the Economics and Business Research Center, Jennifer was the Program Coordinator for the Program on Economics, Law, and the Environment (ELE). Additionally, Jennifer has taught the Role of Markets and Incentives and Economic Statistics at the University of Arizona and Micro and Macro Economics at Pima Community College.
